It was my son's 7th birthday this week and for the first time, I totally ditched the big party scene and kept it to just us! He wanted a pokemon cake so I figured I'd throw a few figurines or something on the top of the cake and then he'd have them since he likes silly things like that. Well . . . four stores later I knew I was screwed on that idea! I scrambled home and pulled up a picture of pekachu??? I guess that's one of the pokemon characters from the game - very popular and ever so quickly mixed up that yellow frosting. Anyways, I'll share some pics and I thought that the cake wasn't 1/2 bad for the very last minute!

great job! my son is also 7 and totally into pokeman. I did not realize how hard it is to find their stuff until we went to a party this weekend and the mom said she had to get all the favors on e-bay!
